The system boots up without login prompts directly into root (although it has a very nice graphical boot process). I found the user environment to be too limited and I did not want to pay $99/year to be able access the man pages (or download several 100 MBs over a dialup link). I replaced Lindows with RH 8.0 which I bought for $25 and I'm much happier.
