I hope something solves my pain in the boot. My old MB is on the blacklist for APCI and I have to manually edit Force=APCI every time an update occurs for the kernel, the update make a new entry in boot menu without copying my change.

Uhm, this may come a bit late, but you can actually set default kernel command line parameters right now in ubuntu (I needed to set acpi=off, quite the opposite of your problem).
