Now let's hope that the Participatory Culture Foundation will award $90,000 to VLC/xine (whichever is the video viewer that plays all video formats, that the Democracy Player framework uses). And then VLC/xine will award $80,000 to ffmpeg. Because the mindboggling thing is writing an mpeg decoder.
