is windowmaker minimal by design or just old? seems the minimally-obsessed have moved on to dwm, wmii, ion, etc

The NeXT computing environment is a part of history now, and WindowMaker is a living homage to it's legacy. I wouldn't expect the program to be anything more or less than a clone of NEXTSTEP circa 1995.
