If we're going to turn this into a laundry list, I wish there were lm-sensors drivers for my two Intel boards (DQ965GF and DG965RY). This is the only thing I have not got to work on my systems - actually I did not even think about checking it before buying because I never even thought it might not work. Oh well.
That said, I'm quite happy in general with Intel's work on linux drivers for their platforms. This was actually one of the factors I considered when choosing a motherboard. At this point I think Intel's doing much better than their competition in that regard.
