Linux on the desktop (InfoWorld)

Chad Dickerson decides that Linux is further along on the desktop than he thought. "This particular salesperson had not seen Linux in action, and as I turned to demonstrate, he looked at the open spreadsheet on my screen and said, "I didn't know Excel ran on Linux." In one simple sentence, the usefulness of the OpenOffice Calc program was validated -- if my spreadsheets work and a salesperson recognizes (functionally at least) the software at a first glance in the Linux environment, the training is mostly done." Linux on the desktop (InfoWorld)

This man is hooked on Windows.

He doesn't want to switch the desktop, never ever.
You can see it clearly in his writing:
First he writes:
"if my spreadsheets (oocalc) work and a salesperson recognizes (functionally at least) the software at a first glance in the Linux environment, the training is mostly done."
Then he writes:
"Still, I'm in no hurry to migrate our company to a Linux desktop." the reason? He thinks that the applications look to much like the windows equivalents.

I find it unbelievable that people like this writer can give there opinion without pointing out his inconsistent position.
