This is not correct. Minimo is incomplete and afaik not being developed anymore.
I have seen it installed on a Nokia 770, and saw it browsing the web.
If it is really not maintained/developed anymore, that would be bad. If worst comes to worst, maybe the GPE Mini Browser can act as a replacement, it already seems to support the Maemo platform.
To my knowledge Gnash is actively being worked on. But if swfdec could be made to run, that would also be good.
The specific piece of software is a secondary concern as long as it is Free Software.
