Oh, yes, MD = clueless.

At 30KB/s, how long it is going to download 3.3GB CD4 dvd?

Way to long to bother to evaluate.

To compare, *nux tarball from kernel.org came just in at about 2MB/s, flying.

Yeay, way to go Mandriva.
