I don't understand the fuzz, people can download and install it for themselves. It's "only", 127 Mb big or so...
No way that Dell is going to throw away that MS support money they get.

Some would never install anything (on purpose, that is) without a "computer guru" assisting them. Some people are prohibited by the corporate policy to install anything without the IT department. All of them would benefit.
