I'm pleased to announce that we have shipped version 6.0.1
of CrossOver, for both Linux and the Mac.
This version is entirely a bug fix release. Notably, it
contains a fix so that time sensitive applications will continue
to work correctly after the new Daylight Savings
Time switch. It also contains a few bug fixes for Outlook
and handling multiple CD installers, as well as a range
of other minor issues. A full list of changes is included, below.
If you are an existing CrossOver customer with an active support entitlement,
you should be able to visit our web site to download this latest version:
You will need to log in with the email and username that you used when
Once logged in, you should be able to go to 'My Downloads'
to download this release, presuming you are a customer on active support
(you can review your purchase history on your account tab as well).
If you have questions or need some help, please feel free to
drop an email to sales at codeweavers.com, where we'll do our best to help you.
If you are happy with your current version of CrossOver,
you should feel no urgent need to upgrade. If you are affected
by a time zone related bug, we do recommend an upgrade; however, we
do also have a work around if you do not wish to upgrade. You
can refer to our support FAQs or contact technical support for details.
Finally, I thought I would let you know that we continue to work
on more substantial improvements for version 6.1, which we
hope to bring you in the relatively near future. Those improvements
center primarily around Outlook and games, although we hope
to bring you a broad range of improvements in the underlying Wine technology.
We greatly appreciate all of the support you have given us, and we
hope you continue to enjoy CrossOver.
