News from LinuxTag 2002 (Linux fair in Karlsruhe, Germany):
LinuxWiki.de is a new collaboration and communication platform in German
language based on the new WikiWikiWeb technology
for the Linux, FreeSoftware and OpenSource community, where they can
co-operate very easily. Every visitor can edit pages,
contribute new information and easily make up HyperText to its best!
This fits to the Linux and Free Software community - anybody can actively
contribute (only german, this is a german site) and all is
very easy - you don't need any HTML or similar knowledge and your first own
wiki page is just a few clicks away.
There is a knowledge and link database in the Wiki, areas for LUGs (any LUG
may create some own pages in the Wiki) and a simple
group calendar.
The intention behind LinuxWiki.de is to improve collaboration in the
community, because it is a pity to see so much energy wasted in
that area due to technical inadequacy of "normal" web pages, news, chat and
many other media.
Get ready for some HyperText collaboration revolution: http://LinuxWiki.de
