I just find it impressive that they couldn't even figure out that "files" are not just windows api constructs, but really exist on the disk, and so the name is just wrong. It's like opening and closing quotes to the explitive which is the implementation.
I've unfortunately programmed the win32 api before, although in its "sanitized" form, called Mono.
