>Slackware 11.0 is not affected by this particular US DST issue, but an update to the latest zoneinfo database is provided anyway. It pays to read the fine print - As a Slackware 11 user who has verified (via zdump) that his computers have the correct time zone information for the upcoming DST "bug", I was surprised to see this patch. It's good to see that Patrick Volkerding and colleagues are on top of things.
