So you're saying that Linux and FreeBSD are fastest, NetBSD is an order of magnitude slower than those two, and OpenBSD is an order of magnitude slower than NetBSD?

Do you have a link to those comparisons?

I am not arguing at all, but I am quite surprised by those results! I have not used NetBSD, but have used OpenBSD on a shared server and it seemed to run perfectly well on not-so-new hardware.
