Odd that the article would discuss ssh keys and fail to urge that they always be used ( w/out them a slightly modified sshd can be used to recover user auth information ). One should really always use password protected ssh keys.

As a matter of course one should also always ensure that ssh v1 is disabled ( server and client side ).
