Visual Integrity Upgrades FLY Batch; Cuts Prices on Linux Versions

Visual Integrity announced the release of FLY Batch 6.5, its developer
component for automating volume PDF and PostScript file conversion into
web, print and archive formats. The company also cut prices up to 50% on
all Linux versions.

Norwalk, CT (PRWeb) February 12, 2007 -- Today, Visual Integrity
announced the release of FLY Batch 6.5, its development component for
automating batch and real-time conversion of PDF and PostScript files.
The company also cut prices up to 50% on all Linux versions of software
to match Microsoft Windows version pricing.

FLY Batch converts any PDF, PostScript or EPS file into a variety of
formats needed for print and web publishing, to meet compliancy
requirements and for archival projects. Scalable vector output formats
include WMF, EMF, SVG, DXF, CGM, HPGL, EPS, and MIF. High-fidelity TIFF,
GIF, PNG, JPEG and BMP image formats are supported and plain formatted
ASCII can be extracted. FLY Batch is available as a command line tool on
all platforms. It is also available as a Windows DLL.

"Technically, but especially culturally, Linux is unique", said Jean
Haney, president and co-founder of Visual Integrity, "We originally
priced our Linux versions at UNIX premiums and realize now that this was
wrong. Linux has bred its own ecosystem which is worlds apart from the
UNIX model".

Improvements in FLY Batch 6.5 include increased performance and
throughput, selective page-range conversions, customizable output
naming, advanced font mapping options, watch folder support, object
level cropping and clipping and Unicode support.

FLY Batch belongs to a family of conversion products available from
Visual Integrity. Also available are PDF FLY and META FLY, interactive
desktop conversion applications as well as the FLY SDK, a toolkit for
developers to use to incorporate import and export functionality into
their applications. All of these products are also available for
Microsoft Windows and Linux as well as for Sun, HP and IBM UNIX-based
systems.

Linux prices have been reduced to accommodate market dynamics. Prices
for PDF FLY and META FLY on Linux have been reduced from $695 to $395.
FLY Batch has been cut from $1995 to a starting price of $795 for the
FLY Batch Web Image Server which enables volume batch conversion on a
Linux server.
