I haven't been to many other gnu/linux conferences so I can't compare, but SCALE really is great, with an inclusive atmosphere and a lot of inspiring people. It's put together by hard-working volunteers who give the conference a good community vibe. This year's SCALE starts with the Women in Open Source sessions, which look to be good as well. If you're in the area, come join us!
