GNOME is invited. I think they have to hold a board meeting, etc. I'm not sure anyone sent AfterStep an invitation, but they are invited now.

Where's GNOME?

Someone pointed out that I bypassed the sarcasm above. That's me. I
was just looking for my own problems and not bothering with the rest.
I looked at that comment and said to myself, "oh darn, we didn't
talk with AfterStep". FreeDesktop.org isn't really its own organization,
it's either a collaboration of GNOME and KDE or it's Havoc Pennington's
web site. I'm not sure.

Anyway, I want to have a membership category for free software projects
that is without fee, and want to be reasonably careful about who gets
into that category - people who make real software, rather than advocacy
groups, are the target. Currently, I am representing all of the free
software projects as a voting member, just to get us through the formation
stage.

Thanks

Bruce
