You will be able to buy that card in the relatively near future, and eventually you might be able to use it as your videocard.

It's essentially a brainless videocard (FPGA powered), and the FPGA load isn't done. So you could buy it now and hack, or buy it now and hope, or wait and buy it when they have something usable.

Something vaguely usable will probably happen sooner, while something snazzy will probably take more time.

The ASIC version will probably cost less and offer more performance, so many people will probably wait for that, which can only be made once they've hammered it out with the FPGA board.
