What a misuse of statistics! The fraction of *MS-SQL servers* patched is
1% divided by the fraction of Win2k systems that runs a such server. That
fraction must be very small. So probably a large fraction of all MS-SQL
servers was infected.

Conclusion: just the opposite -- fractional patch rate of MS-SQl servers
was probably feeble.

... divided again by fraction that are open to the Internet (that is, not only connected at all but not firewalled). Pretty soon this is going to start looking like the Drake equation.
