Just what I was thinking. Suddenly renumbering your hard disks will create a booting problem for a lot of users. I would have expected a big warning sign slapped on to this release.

Nothing changes unless you ask it to by asking to use libata instead. (Personally, my / is on LVM on every machine, so this won't affect me in the least; but I can see how it might burn some people.)
