LWN logon cookie not persistent?

why do I need to log into my LWN account everytime I restart my browser? LWN, please let my logon cookie persist across browser sessions. Sure, this is not "secure", but we're not talking about an etrade.com account or something..

That problem was fixed at the end of last week. Could you try one more time; if the problem persists, drop us a note saying what browser you're using and we'll look into it.
