The "adding freedom" seems to be strange because they don't provide more source than Ubuntu: it's like someone is lamenting that his mug is only half full of beer (he'd like to drink a full mug of beer), then FSF comes along and takes away the mug, so now the person could be happy, because his mug is no longer half empty (it doesn't matter that he's got no mug).
