Looking for info on Norwegian court procedures

In the U.S. (the only place whose laws I'm
familiar with), a jury decision of innocence is
irreversible: appeals are only allowed when the
defendant is convicted.
It's obviously different in Norway, and I'd
appreciate a knowledgeable overview of how it
works, and whether there's a point (other than,
presumably, a decision of Norway's Supreme Court
equivalent, if any) when Mr. Johansen knows a
final decision has been rendered.
