I think much more telling is when the blogger took the trouble to complain about library issues slowing them down. They were linking against libfoo.so in general, instead of libfoo.so.X, which (surprise!!!) did not work.
Going to the trouble to make a special explanation of what's taking so long, only to have the reason for delay underlines your incompetence in developing for the operating system, that's some serious egg-on-face.

They seem to have made some significant improvements over the old flash plugins behaviour, though...
