I've been using OpenID for several months now, mostly so that friends with livejournal accounts can "friend" me (enabling me to read their private writings) without my having to register with livejournal myself. It works well.
Which begs the question: is there any chance of LWN enabling OpenID for their supporters' logins? I'd much rather use OpenID here than username/password.
