Man when did "Pentium III 600MHz processor, 192MB of SDRAM, and a 20GB hard drive" become old and obsolete. as far as I'm concerned that's plenty of hardware to run any desktop distro (just not windows).

I run plain ubunutu dapper on a 350Mhz 128MB ram, 6GB hd with no problems.
Sure you have to be wait a min for epiphany to start (uses less ram then firefox) but everything is fine. If I'm at home i remote display firefox from my desktop to speed things up (remember remote X apps, that's how we us to use desktops way past there useful life)
