Who will interpret the "similar in spirit" clause, and in what way?
Court, of course - who else ? Since FSF can only relicense code for GCC, GLibC and other projects under GPLv3 if the GPLv3 is considered "similar in spirit" to GPLv2 (that's part of contract between FSF and contributors) you can stop all this nonsense if you'll go to court and prove that GPLv3 is not "similar in spirit" enough. Are you ready to do this ?
