Here's a linux-powered (well, cross platform) helicopter simulator (well, it does airplanes too) that you can run on your own computer:

No, this one doesn't run on the PS2 either.

It's not open source, but it does run natively on linux.

Yeah sure. Somebody on Slashdot said that it should be possible and Google indexed that page.

Using this approach, we can find something more interesting: GPLed Windows, DOOM port for PDP-11 and my favorite:
Striped Polar Bear!
