FreeDOS 1.0 crashes when trying to access a CD-ROM with no disc in it. It looks like "12-year gestation" doesn't protect against simple and nasty bugs. Extensive testing by many users is much better at that. Hopefully the 1.0 release will attract more users who will discover the remaining bugs.
