FOSS.IN/2006 - Call for Participation

FOSS.IN, India's largest Free & Open Source Software event (and that was 
formerly known as "Linux Bangalore") has announced FOSS.IN/2006, to be 
held on November 24-26, in Bangalore, India.

The preliminary website is up at http://foss.in/2006 along with the Call 
for Participation.

Please read the CfP carefully - unlike in earlier years, the event now 
places greater focus on actual contribution, and will not address topics 
such as introductions to FOSS applications, or basic technologies, or any 
information that is easily found on the web.

The purpose of this conference is to move beyond the theme of advocacy and 
awareness - themes that are handled successfully by other events all 
around India and the world - and to focus on advancing FOSS technologies, 
and enabling experienced developers, existing contributors and potential 
contributors to exchange information, discuss directions and work at 
peer-level.
