Team ASA announces the NPWR-LCX Ultra Low Cost, High Performance 
Single Board Networking Computer.

San Diego, CA -- Team ASA Inc., a manufacturer of high-performance 
networking and storage products, today announced the newest member in 
the NPWR Single Board Networking Computer family of products, the 
"NPWR-LCX".

The NPWR-LCX is one of two new single board networking computers 
released by Team ASA this week. The NPWR-LCX is based on the recently 
released Intel 80219 XScale CPU, running at 600 MHz.  The NPWR-LCX 
I/O suite consists of Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, four Serial ATA 
ports, a USB 2.0 Device port and a Serial port. The NPWR-LCX Memory 
configuration supports 64 to 512 Megabytes of 266 MHz, DDR SDRAM and 
8-16 Megabytes of FLASH ROM. The NPWR-LCX comes configured with a 
2.6.13 Linux OS version on FLASH ROM Disk and a  Linux Binary 
Distribution CD-ROM.  As with all NPWR family products the NPWR-LCX 
comes complete with applications such as Samba, NetAtalk and Apache.

The NPWR-LCX has Team ASA's second generation 4" by 6.5" foot print, 
this compact foot print allows the NPWR-LCX to fit easily into most 
3.5" drive bays and disk enclosures.

"The NPWR-LCX brings a new level of performance to Team ASA's low 
Cost line of single board networking computers." said Mark Murray 
Team ASA's president.  "The NPWR-LCX's 600 MHz 80219 Xscale CPU 
provides processing performance similar to our higher end boards but 
a fraction of the cost" stated Murray. As with all NPWR products, 
customers can take the NPWR-LCX out of the box and implement a new 
product in a single day.

  The price of a NPWR-LCX configured with a 600 MHz Intel 80219 XScale 
CPU, 64 MB of DDR RAM, Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, and 4 SATA ports 
in 1000 piece quantity is $195.00 USD.   The NPWR-LCX is available 
and in production now.
