This article was rock bottom compared to the usual LWN standards. I am
not very interested in Dans ramblings about which software he chooses. On
top of that, much of the information is just wrong or distorted (Sendmail
can't run milters? Please!).

I especially disliked the two remarks on how qmails code is old and
inherently unsupportable. As a matter of fact there are several companies
who support qmail commercially.

Perhaps related, I use TeX a lot which also hasn't changed in some 15
years. But I tribute that stability to the great genius behind the
system. Code doesn't suddely get 'crufty'.
