The courier suite include the well know IMAP server, a POP server (both also with -SSL version), but also a MTA server, a webmail application and a web administration interface. All modules are optional, but all ot them use Maildir folders.

Courier Posted Sep 7, 2006 12:56 UTC (Thu) by ringerc (guest, #3071) [Link] I think you'll find that Courier is included via this comment: There are some unworthy MTAs too, these I am delighted to omit. That is certainly my own sentiment on the matter. It has its place for simple installations but is hopelessly limited for many uses and rather archaic too. I'm not a fan (I now use Postfix with Cyrus IMAPd and am extremely happy with it, though initial setup of cyrus is certainly not as easy as it could be). Of course to a large extent it depends on what your needs are.
