For this I use the newsreader built into Thunderbird, along with Gmane. This works better than slrn in my opinion, which I also replaced in the switch. I encourage people to try newsreader+GMANE to manage mailling list traffic. I explain more in this posting. It was written in my slrn era, but the concept still apply. Mark Stosberg
