Fedora support runs for a year, so at worst you'd have to update annually. And Fedora Legacy supports some versions for much longer than that. I have a Fedora Core 1 server that's still getting security updates. Heck, I have a Redhat 7.3 server that's still getting security updates!
That's a proven record of long-term support.
