Description:
    In previous versions of the initscripts package, there was no capability
    to run early initialization scripts that were specific to the version of
    the kernel installed.  In this version of initscripts, if executable
    files called /lib/modules/$(uname -r)/modules.d/*.modules exist, then
    they will be executed at early boot time, directly after the generic
    module loading files in /etc/sysconfig/modules/*.modules.  This change
    will not affect existing systems, but enables more customizations in
    software appliances.
