Can any one put it simple: are they okay?

I understand words "20% up" but the over all health of Novell is still unclear to me. Specifically how Novell changed since the spin off.

Let's put it this way, they'll survive till next quarter. They've gained a little profit this year, by comparison to last year's numbers. The next quarter will be "survivable" also because they sold Celerant for $77 million. Personally, I think it's Novell's luke warm sales staff (althought they have to contend with Redhat's AND Microsoft's strong Sales Forces in the market place).

Cross your fingers and hope they learn how to market and sale quickly!
