The kernel lock validator Posted May 31, 2006 13:10 UTC (Wed) by kirkengaard (subscriber, #15022) [Link] Yes ... when he can't get it just so, he goes out and kills some butterflies out of frustration, changing the state of the universe's entropy pool, and unpredictably modifying system behavior. The occasional kernel deadlock is merely a symptom, though it poses a supremely difficult debugging challenge. ;)
