The KMyMoney team is pleased to announce the availability of Release 0.8.4.

This is an update to our latest stable release, and contains several bug 
fixes and some improvements to the entry of scheduled transactions. There 
are also some new translations and miscellaneous changes, all of which 
should help to make building and using the application even easier.

The source tarball for this package can be downloaded from our web site at  
http://kmymoney2.sourceforge.net. Should you need any further information

 * Fixed #1398411 (Exchange rate not used when recording a transaction)

 * Fixed #1439701 (Deposits don't book as deposits)
 * Fixed #1440332 (Crash when Drag'n'Drop-Moving categories)
 * Fixed #1441071 (Investment transaction Enter button not enabled)
 * Fixed #1445815 (Hidden category warning when editing a category)

 * Fixed speed/lockup issue during startup (thanks to Markus Draeger
   for providing an anonymized file to duplicate the problem)
 * Fixed lockup problem with loan transfers

* Internationalization issues
 * New Catalan translation provided by Orestes Mas
 * German translation update provided by Frank Schmischke
 * Spanish and Galician translation updates provided by Mvillarino
 * Added Lithuanian translation as provided by Donates Glodenis
 * Added updated italian translation as provided by Vincenzo Reale
 * Fixed pot generation (strings in ui files in subdirs were not included)
 * Added logic to extract the comment field from UI string fields
   to support context translation for UI files.
 * Added Netherland Antillian Guilder to currency list
 * Added feature to create new currency entries

* GUI changes
 * Changed text "Amortization" to "principal" in the new loan wizard.
 * Clarified text relating to the "payout transaction" in the new
   loan wizard.

* Scheduled transaction changes
 * Present information message, that an account must be specified
   before splits can be defined while creating a schedule
 * Don't override amount specified if all splits have been cleared
   and the split edit dialog has been left with OK back to the
   schedule dialog
 * Only show asset and liability accounts in From/To field for schedules
 * Only show income and expense account in Category field for schedules
 * Added general asset and liability accounts to be shown as payment
   sources for loan schedules

* Investment changes
 * Added online price factor setting for investments

* Build changes
 * Updated to KDE revision 526661
 * Fixed missing definition in mymoneymoneytest.cpp
 * Applied patch to fix undefined operation warning provided
   by Dirk Mueller
