Personally I like the personal thouch that using "we" or "I" in an article gives. Of course, once you find out that the little box has the information you were looking for.

Showing what they work on, what gets them excited and what they think are the most important breakthroughs these last view years. Glad you liked the "we" perspective. But I agree that the article should have clearly said that I am the current GNU Classpath maintainer to alert the reader to any bias that might have slipped in.
