Loveland, Colorado -- 18 December 2002 -- Terra Soft Solutions, Inc., 
the leading developer of integrated PowerPC Linux solutions, 
announces "YDL.net" an online community for Yellow Dog Linux users.

With the purchase of $89.95 or more from the Terra Soft store, 
individuals are offered a special code which enables one free 
lifetime email account at YDL.net.

David Gelvin, Terra Soft engineer who spearheaded the YDL.net project 
offers, "In building YDL.net, we thank our Yellow Dog Linux users for 
four years of support with what we believe to be a valuable tool and 
means to show Yellow Dog Linux pride. In the near future, we hope to 
transform YDL.net into a great online community."

While individuals may user their local email applications, such as 
Kmail or Evolution, to send and receive YDL.net email, the web-based 
interface, built upon the Horde Project, offers a powerful suite of 
tools, including:
	 - on-screen support for 27 languages
	 - time zone and filter configurations
	 - custom folder and address book management
	 - message display and composition options
	 - search, troubleshooting, and built-in spell-checking

The web interface will remain free of advertising and the user list 
will never be sold.

In the comming weeks Terra Soft will offer an enhanced, upgrade 
subscription level to YDL.net with exclusive software downloads and 
personal web space. Software downloads will include early access to 
new-release Yellow Dog Linux disk images from a private server. This 
service will be available for $5 a month.
