I believe MEPIS beat him to it. I prefer the elegance of PCLinuxOS myself
but if you absolutely, definitely need a Debian/Ubuntu base, I guess
MEPIS will be the distribution to beat...

The next version of MEPIS will be based on Kubuntu. :-)
