UnitedLinux agrees to differ (Register) [LWN.net]

The Register examines the UnitedLinux effort. "UnitedLinux is a marriage of four distros - SuSE, Caldera, Conectiva and TurboLinux - but it isn't really a distro, as we were led to believe by the pre-launch rumor mill. Well, yes and no."

Not OpenLinux, UnitedLinux

Don't get OpenLinux and UnitedLinux mixed up. The Register story makes that mistake, and your (slightly mistaken) quote makes it too. SuSE Linux, a product of Suse Inc. will be powered by UnitedLinux, as will OpenLinux, a product of Caldera Inc.

Nothing will be "powered by OpenLinux". As it happens, I mean that in more ways than one, but that's not the point here :-)
