Qxmp provides a simple, compact and clean interface to mplayer. With Qxmp, you can play in just one application: - .mpg, .mpeg, .wmv, .avi, .asf, .mov, .rm, .ra, .divx, .mkv, .ogm, .mp3, .wav, .ogg, .mka, .wma, .mp2 media files - .m3u, .pls, .ram, .smi, .asx, .wax, .wvx playlists - media streams directly from internet - DVD - Audio CD (Mplayer must have been compiled with the cdda support) The "control panel" (with large easily accessible buttons) is always centered at the bottom of the window (no menubar, no toolbar). Only Mplayer and Qt are required to use Qxmp (no database, no gstreamer , no taglib...). Qxmp provides a light "playlist editor" and a "bookmarks manager".
