Nice startup on introducing people to the world of proper technical writing. I wanted to add about existance of pyblink which allows to "merry" pybliographic and OO.org, providing a very easy way to create references in OO while using bib files... To keep ideas and information up-to-date, I've decided to start up a wiki page on scientific writing. Any recommendations are more than welcome...
