Scientific Linux 4.3 (beta) came up just some days ago. These two release are so near in time, and some weeks (IIRC) after the RHEL 4.3 release that it would be interesting to know if it's a coincidence or they both experienced problems getting the sources from the vendor.

RHEL 4 update 3 came out on March 7. 3 weeks doesn't seem like an outlandishly long time to build the sources and test the result.

Yes good old evil Red Hat made sure that everyone but the developers at Fermi Lab and Centos could get the source code. And they also put this out to all the mirrors that have the RHEL-4 update src.rpms too. I tell you the conspiracy is world wide.
