For that, you'd have to get them to air their dirty laundry. To some trustworthy third-party willing to actually disclose the figures they come up with, rater than the ones they were paid for. Coverity does seem like a good party for that, but just try and get the closed-source, all-for-profit PR departments to buy into not-guaranteed-to-be-good advertising that compares them to their competitors directly, from which users might draw negative conclusions about their software quality.
