You could look at it the other way around.
Those of us who can easily clean up the mess a bleeding edge distro can make, should probably be running such a distro to contribute to the community.

I've used debian/unstable or equivalent since slink was stable.
What I've learned from that has allowed me to answer lots of questions in various forums.
