_Adequately_ criticised? Not sure.

I'd be interested in links to such criticism. So far, I have been unsuccessful in locating in-depth critical analysis of the detailed design decisions of SELinux (security models in TE vs. those supported by other systems, consequences of file labeling, reliance on M4 macros, and others) that would let me feel confident in it.

I do find myself wishing for a more streamlined system, and so far, I have much preferred the other systems (eg, LIDS [but found it not stable] and Grsecrity [my current preference], haven't evaluated Subdomain/AppArmor) to SELinux).

It has occurred me that while may be the ideal system for a certain type of (US government?) customer, it might not be the ideal system for a large class of users. The citations in this article tend to strengthen my impression.
